"After getting paired with Gary during a Red Man tournament last year, I picked up a couple baits and gave them a try. I was completely amazed at how well they came through thick cover and, more importantly, how the bass reacted. I caught bass that wouldn't hit a jig or worm worked slowly in the cover, but would grab a D Bait as it bounced through the limbs of a laydown tree. They also produced well when ticked off the top of a milfoil bed and when bounced off of rocks.

"The D Bait is my number one shallow crankbait. It also makes a great search bait during tournament practice, allowing me to cover a lot of water, yet knowing that if the bass are at all active they will hit a D bait.

"My old tournament partner is an outdoor writer who gets to go to the B.A.S.S. Classic every year. He told me that at least 3 of the pros (who shall remain nameless, since they have big dollar contracts with several major lure companies) were fishing the D Bait at the Chicago Classic. That should tell you something about the productivity of the D Bait!"
